ALLERGENS, TOXICITY AND ANIMALS Toxic to animals. (Dogs, cats, horses) Stems, leaves, and seeds contain cyanide. Dogs are permitted to eat a small amount of peaches occasionally, without the seed. Horses can also each peach fruit that has had the seed removed.
COMMENTS Very sweet fruit with low acid. Low chill areas for our Florida area. Requires 175 hours to 200 chill hours. Self pollinating. Peach trees are originally from China and have been cultivated for 3000 years.
